All members of Maisha is Mazuri give 100% dedication to the program, each having their own sources of revenues, This reassures our management of finances within the group. Our program has over 10 years of experience with a reputation of helping orphanages and needy.
We already have some volunteers as well as donors from various countries (Australia, USA, Netherlands, Burundi and Kenya) of which we report monthly on the management of the NGO
We work and are ready to work throughout the whole of the DRC and its neighboring countries as well as across the world. We have a reliable cohesive team with diverse expertise in several areas to help orphans and vulnerable (Pediatrician, Manager, Social Service worker, Education Consultant).
We are ready to meet the challenges and make them livable so as to alleviate, if not stop, the suffering of children and give them a better life.
To date Maisha Mazuri has 43 members including 7 permanent members of the Steering Committee, 6 honorary members and 30 volunteers ..
Our goals :
1. To give a strong hand to DRC organizations with a concentration to the needy, the homeless, orphanages and the vulnerable.
2. Provide expertise, time and resources (material and financial) to non-governmental entities working with the needy, the homeless, orphaned children and the vulnerable.
3. Identify the major areas of concern of the homes, rehabilitation centers, orphanages and centers to ensure that they can have the necessary supports of other NGOs and philanthropic societies.
4. Organize the raising of funds for these centers, orphanages and for Maisha Mazuri in relation to the target groups who do not have the chance to be in homes, centers, orphanages and non-governmental entities.
5. Develop appropriate means so that orphans have a fair chance of being adopted with impeccable service in adoption centers while maintaining international standard.
6. Ensure that children and people have adequate psychological support and access to acceptable health care.
